- There are two props that I couldn't find as toys: the iron and the frying pan. So I took full-size photographs of them, the reduced them down to the proportions of the characters and animated them in post-production.
- In Superhero Blues 1
, I didn't have any way of making the figures walk. For Family Jewels, I built a contraption to help me create the illusion of walking, without which one scene in particular (Max and Lieutenant Barnes) would not have been possible.
- When they saw the scene where Marcus falls from the sixth floor, my children went pale - they thought I had really thrown one of their toys out of the window!
- I did the voice of the lady of the house myself because the actress who plays the role is actually the voice of Sabine...
